Postnatal Personal Trainer

KeepFitMammy provide Personal Training to help you get back into shape safely after your baby. Vicki Bradley has been working with mums and mums-to-be since 2014 and is a qualified Personal Trainer with additional qualifications and continued professional development in Pre and Post Natal Exercise, Pelvic Health and Core Strength.


She will plan a programme of exercise and nutrition with you depending on your current fitness levels, what you did throughout pregnancy and your lifestyle. Any lasting effects from pregnancy will be discussed at an initial consultation and training will be centred around these. Vicki helps clients to manage and improve conditions such as diastasis recti and pelvic floor dysfunction by including exercise and breathing techniques proven to improve the symptoms of these issues.

During the Covid-19 pandemic Vicki is offering free On-Line classes for everyone on Fridays at 9.30am via Facebook Live. Since these classes are not specific for postnatal women, please inform her you are joining in and she will let you know what is appropriate for you.

Under normal circumstances...

Sessions are held in a small home gym on a one-to-one basis and have a very personal feel.

Two-to-one sessions are also available if you prefer to share your training with a friend, and a plan will be tailored for both people with some alternatives if their goals are very different. This can help with motivation if you commit to it with somebody else.

Home visits are also available in and around Newcastle but will be charged additional fees depending on the distance. These are ideal if you want to plan sessions around your baby's nap times.

Babies and children are welcome to sessions, but it is advisable to be prepared by having baby fed, changed and book sessions at a time when they are most settled.

Initial consultations can be booked anytime from 4 weeks post birth, but training sessions will start from 6 weeks.
