Baby Talk Coffee Afternoons/Mornings
We hold regular friendly and welcoming Coffee Mornings and Afternoons for pregnant women, new parents, grandparents, carers and, of course, babies.
The venue for our Coffee Afternoons is St Aidens Church hall, Princes Road, Brunton Park, Gosforth, NE3 5NF.
No need to book, just drop in — entry is £2 per adult which includes refreshments and cake!

The Role of Osteopathy in Maternity Care
Mandy Banton, Registered Osteopath, BA (Hons), BSc (Hons) Fellow of the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy
Mandy's talk will cover the regulated status and scope of osteopathic practice with regards to maternity care. She will talk through some case studies that illustrate how osteopaths can help women adapt to the biomechanical load of pregnancy and with recovery from child-birth.

Mandy is an osteopath and a lecturer in clinical biomechanics and research methods. She graduated from the London School of Osteopathy in 2007, having trained at the mother and baby clinic there.

Ruth's talk will involve a brief introduction to NLP and Hypnosis and explain how these tools and techniques can be utilised by and facilitated with pregnant women to:
Ruth achieved her Clinical Hypnotherapy and Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy Diplomas in 2012. More recently, she has also undertaken EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), EMI (Eye Movement Integration) and Hypnobirthing Practitioner training to further inform her work.
Ruth specialises in supporting fertility and working with women throughout pregnancy, birth and beyond. However, she also enjoys the variety involved in working with a broad range of issues for which Hypnosis has been proved to be effective.

Zoë Freedman graduated with an undergraduate masters degree (MChiro) from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in 2005 completing her MSc in Pregnancy and Paediatric Musculoskeletal Health soon after. Since that time Zoë has worked in private practice setting up her own clinic in 2014. Zoë is a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors and of the faculty of Pregnancy & Paediatrics. Outside of clinical practice Zoë has lectured regularly in the USA and UK at universities and private CPD events.
