Postnatal Yoga is a wonderful opportunity for new mums to ease their way back into exercise after having a baby. Yoga can help stretch, strengthen and tone the body and offers simple breathing and relaxation techniques which can help cope with everyday motherhood. It is also a fantastic time to connect, bond and have fun with your baby.
Whether you are new to Yoga or coming back to it, these gentle classes will restore your sense of wellbeing and confidence.
It is important you and you baby have had your 6/8 week check from your GP before starting.

Forget any preconceptions about Yoga!
The posture work includes simple stretches for both you and your baby. You’ll be using your baby as a weight for some postures and swaying your baby gently for others. There is a balanced sequence of stretching, strengthening and relaxing poses.
The breath work is integrated into the class and the course will cover some specific breathing practices to help with anxiety, stress and to help soothe baby. Each class ends with relaxation for you and your baby.
